Monaco started this season under the supervision of Jardim himself but was sacked after losing to Rennes 1-2 on 7 October before Henry was hired.
However, things did not improve at all under the former France striker, Monaco froze Henry's functions Thursday before announcing the return of Jardim on Friday.
Jardim will be officially assigned to the match against Gingham in the French League Cup, with the team being led by French side Dijon on Saturday.
Jardim has led Monaco to the French league title of the 2016-2017 season for the first time in 17 years.
