Arsenal vs Manchester City
England – Premier League
Date: Sunday, 15 December 2019
Kick-off at 16:30 UK/ 17:30 CET
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London).

Arsenal welcome Manchester City to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon and both teams have injury problems in defence ahead of the game.

The Gunners are coming on the back of a disappointing 2-2 draw with Standard Liege in midweek, which have fueled in suggestions that Freddie Ljungberg should quickly be replaced. The Swede will now have a point to prove against one of the strongest teams in Europe this weekend.

Manchester City, on the other hand, remain among the upper echelons of Premier League football. But, unlike the last couple of season, the champions’ grip over the title is slowly slipping, with the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United last weekend leaving them 14 points behind Liverpool (17 after the Reds’ 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday). Pep Guardiola’s men cannot afford any more slip-ups.
