Real Madrid managed to beat Espanyol with two goals without response, during the confrontation with the two teams, today, Saturday, in the 16th round of the League.

 



Real Madrid's Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema scored in the 37th and 79th minutes.

With this victory, Real Madrid raised its score to 34 points in the top position temporarily, while Espanyol's balance was frozen at 9 points in the penultimate position.
