RB Leipzig vs Monchengladbach Prediction & Match Preview

All eyes will be on Red Bull Arena when Leipzig and M’gladbach go head to head in the Bundesliga round 23.

The Red Bulls did well to melt Bayern Munchen’s advantage in the Bundesliga standings to only two points at the weekend, with the team crushing Hertha Berlin 3-0 on the road.

Leipzig aim to extend their winning run to five games, and we are positive that they will adopt yet another attack-minded approach in Saturday’s football match.

Forsberg, Laimer, and Szoboszlai have been struggling with injuries of late, meaning that they are unlikely to feature against Borussia.

Die Fohlen head into the match following a 2-1 loss to relegation strugglers Mainz, and seeing that they faced Man City in midweek, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts.

Doucoure is injured, while Thuram should recover in time to face Leipzig.

Team News:

Leipzig will be without Kevin Kampl, Konrad Laimer and Emil Forsberg due to knee injuries, with Dominik Szoboszlai's groin issue still preventing him from making his debut for the club after signing from Red Bull Salzburg in January.

Mukiele and Christopher Nkunku could return to the starting XI after being used from the bench in the win in Berlin, while Dayot Upamecano should slot back into the defence after receiving a rare rest.

Gladbach, meanwhile, lost Jonas Hofmann to a leg injury in the final few minutes against Man City, with the Germany international likely to be out for a few weeks.

Otherwise, Rose appears to have no injury issues to contend with, so Marcus Thuram and Breel Embolo could come into the side to freshen the attack up.
