Bayern Munich vs Koln Prediction & Match Preview

Bayern Munchen will be looking to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt when they host Koln at their Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The German giants have been struggling in Bundesliga ever since they won the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, but they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways.

Since second-place Leipzig are breathing down their neck, we are positive that the reigning champions will fight tooth and nail against the Billy Goats.

Koln failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Bayern Munchen’s party at Allianz Arena.

Even though all Gnabry, Pavard, Tolisso, Costa, and Muller are out of contention for Hansi Flick’s troops, home win should be considered as FCB are eager to get back on course in the German top flight.

Musiala is likely to keep his place between the lines ahead of Eric Choupo-Moting, with Flick likely to go with the same XI which comfortably dispatched Lazio.

Koln, meanwhile, will travel to Munich without Sebastian Bornauw due to a back injury.

Sebastian Andersson and Florian Kainz are back in training after recovering from knee injuries, but Jonas Hector is seemingly still in the latter stages of returning from his muscular problem.
